Quick And Easy Rice Dhokla Recipe

Welcome to the world of delicious and easy recipes! Today, we'll be making a mouth-watering dish - Quick and Easy Rice Dhokla.

First, soak 1 cup of rice for 4 hours. Then grind it into a smooth batter. Add 1/4 cup of yogurt, 1 tsp of ginger paste, 1 tsp of green chili paste, and salt to taste.

Mix well and let it ferment for 6-8 hours. Once fermented, add 1 tsp of fruit salt and mix gently. Pour the batter into a greased pan and steam for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the tempering. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tsp of sesame seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, and a pinch of asafoetida.

Once the mustard seeds start to crackle, add 1 tsp of sugar and 1/4 cup of water. Let it simmer for a minute and turn off the heat.

After 15 minutes, check if the dhokla is cooked by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it's ready. Pour the tempering over the dhokla and let it soak for 5 minutes.

Gently remove the dhokla from the pan and cut it into desired shapes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut.

Your Quick and Easy Rice Dhokla is ready to be served! Enjoy it with some green chutney or a cup of hot tea.
